Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good.

(1 Thessalonians 5:20-21)

Over the course of any given year, this ministry is sent hundreds, if not thousands, of prophetic words. At the beginning of a new year, we are literally bombarded with such words. I never discard prophesy (apart from those that clearly do not align with scripture, but many simply 'remain on the shelf').

Once in a while a prophetic message lands on my desk that instantly ministers to me. The prophesy entitled 'The Shift of ‘06' is one such message. It was originally sent to me by a friend. After reading it, I immediately contacted Dutch Sheets Ministries, seeking permission to include it on this web site, that permission was duly granted.  This prophetic word for today's church is a must read!

I believe the reason this word had such an impact upon me was that it brought together and consolidated a number of things The Lord has spoken to me about over the past few years (many of these thoughts can be found on the pages of this web site.)  Certainly during the latter half of 2005, The Lord was very insistent to me that I should re-structure this ministry in 2006. At the very beginning of 2006 The Holy Spirit told me to see the ministry from His perspective rather than my own. When I began to do this, God  started to reveal things that had been previously hidden and open doors that had previously been closed!

Whilst this prophesy speaks specifically about the USA, I truly believe this is a word for the universal church.
