Dear Friends

This is truly an exciting time to be in Christian ministry! God is doing some awesome things around the world. We are witnessing at first hand the words of the prophet  Habakkuk:

‘Look at the nations and watch, be utterly astounded!

For I will work a work in your days which you would

not believe though it were told you’.

Habakkuk 1:4

As we look out across the nations we can see the hand of God moving as never before. Not, since the day of Pentecost, has the gospel of Jesus and His resurrection power moved so rapidly throughout the nations. Indeed the proliferation of new churches far exceeds anything we may read of in the book of acts and it is gaining momentum every day. Over the past five years, in as few as five Church Planting Movements, nearly a quarter of a million lost souls have come to faith in Jesus Christ. Imagine fifty Church Planting Movements, or five hundred or five thousand!

The excitement however, is not in the numbers, not even when we consider these numbers represent individuals coming to a new life in Christ. The greatest joy comes in our being able to partner with God in His redemptive plan for the nations, serving as His instruments in the unfolding miracle of salvation that is being extended to all peoples. It is for this joy we press on.

Marathon runners usually begin their race with great enthusiasm. Before long, many drop out or slow down. But some runners stride on through the pain and exhaustion. For these enduring athletes, there is no more exhilarating sight than the homestretch. When they see it, their pulse quickens, their pace strengthens and their adrenaline surges as they drive themselves forward toward the finish line.

The body of Christ has been running a race for two thousand years. Along the way, many believers have dropped out of the race altogether, some have grown weary and distracted. Instead of pressing ahead, they have become satisfied with a slowing pace. However, growing numbers of Christians today are observing signs that we may be entering the homestretch.

God is pouring out His spirit, across the nations as never before. Can anyone seriously doubt Gods desire to renew, restore, revive and reform the nations of the world? Those who interpret the signs of His divine intervention in world history are re-examining their lives and redoubling their efforts. Simply put, ‘if this is of God, we want to be a part of it’. Entering the homestretch, we find our pulse quickening, our pace strengthening and our resolve heightened. Even so, we say “come quickly Lord Jesus”.

Any ministry is only as effective as its support team. The leaders of Zerubbabel Ministries have been truly blessed with a dedicated group of people who individually and collectively help sustain the ministry. The most important support we receive is the support provided by those who regularly pray for Zerubbabel Ministries and its leadership. What’s involved in becoming a prayer partner?

Quite simply; as a prayer partner you commit to regularly praying for this ministry, as led by The Holy Spirit. We will forward to you via e-mail, regular newsletters along with any specific prayer we may require. In addition if you have any specific prayer requests we will undertake to have our team of intercessors pray for you, your family, church, ministry etc.

What costs are involved?

Absolutely none; We also respect your privacy. All we require is your name and e-mail address and we promise, in accordance with our privacy policy, not to use any information provided for any other purpose than intended by the provider of said information. This ministry does not sell or distribute its mailing lists, nor do we participate in bulk mailing.

How long must I commit to being a pray partner?

That's entirely up to you. Obviously we prefer people who are committed to the core values of this ministry and who are steadfast in their prayer lives. However, should  you decide, at any time, to relinquish your partnership with us, simply advise us of your decision and we will honour and respect that decision.
