An old wooden
cross stands empty
The nail holes
revealing their marks
The blood
stains are there to remind us
Of the cost of
our sins and our past
This sacrifice
Jesus has offered
Was planned
from the beginning of time
His life was
not taken from Him
'Twas a ransom
for yours and for mine
To rise from
the dead was amazing
Who would
believe such a thing
An angel
rolled back the stone
To show that
He really had risen
Is your heart
like that empty tomb?
Devoid of our
wonderful king
Well Jesus has
for you now
A new life for
you to begin
For time is
running out quickly
Judgment day
is not far away
Only Jesus can
offer true peace of heart
So let Him
have yours today!
