Mark 16:5-6

And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.  But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him".

An Empty Cross-An Empty Tomb-An Empty Heart!

An old wooden cross stands empty

The nail holes revealing their marks

The blood stains are there to remind us

Of the cost of our sins and our past

This sacrifice Jesus has offered

Was planned from the beginning of time

His life was not taken from Him

'Twas a ransom for yours and for mine

To rise from the dead was amazing

Who would believe such a thing

An angel rolled back the stone

To show that He really had risen

Is your heart like that empty tomb?

Devoid of our wonderful king

Well Jesus has for you now

A new life for you to begin

For time is running out quickly

Judgment day is not far away

Only Jesus can offer true peace of heart

So let Him have yours today!
