Army On The March

In these final
hours of world history God is calling together an army,
who will march out with Christ at the head and
take possession of all the land of God's promise.
The bible teaches that many of the people in whom our Heavenly Father truly
delights, undergo trials of many kinds in order to strengthen faith and
develop character. As The Lord prepares to restore
His people and
revive the nation of Australia (the great southland of the Holy
Spirit) He is seeking a people who have been refined by the fires of
adversity. These are the very people who will lead the army of God
into revival, take revival into the streets and claim this land for
The One True God. They must know how to discern His Spirit and to
trust implicitly in His grace. Whilst many will be called not all
will be chosen, for these are a very special people. I am reminded of
the words of Zechariah
‘This third I will bring into the fire; I will
refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my
name and I will answer them; I will say, they are my people, and they
will say, The Lord is our God’
(Zech. 13:9). Whilst this particular
prophesy concerns the nation of Israel in the final days of
tribulation, I believe it also has a special significance for those
called in these last days.
Australia has not yet seen true revival, but one thing is for sure;
Satan is doing, and will continue to do, everything in his power to
prevent this revival, because he knows it will mark the beginning of
his end. This should be of no concern for those
in Christ, because no weapon formed against us shall prosper, for we
are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. God, who has already
defeated Satan, is preparing and equipping His saints for the
battle’s ahead, battle’s that can get dirty,
even though Satan can not possibly win. God knows the intensity of
the battle’s and the battle fields that lie ahead. Because of His
great love for us God will not allow unseasoned troops in the front
line. He is using this season to prepare His Joshua’s to enter the
promised land with Christ at the head of the army.
Before we can enter the land of God’s promise and take revival to the
streets we have to be in personal revival. Before we can experience
true personal revival we have to be restored to a people of right
relationship with God. The only way we can be in right relationship
with Him is by walking according to His Spirit, as opposed to
walking according to our flesh. Unfortunately that’s where the
rubber hits the road. It is not easy being a soldier in Gods army,
it’s even harder being a leader in this army. One thing we
should remember and that is; God will do whatever it takes to make
certain those who are called, and particularly those who will lead,
are given the right preparation and testing for the battle’s that
lie ahead.
