Marie was never one to
complain, even during the last difficult months of her life
on earth she was often heard saying “My problems are nothing
compared with some, there are lots of people much worse off
than me”. She never stopped praying for others, she hated
conflict and had no greater joy than seeing people
reconciled to Christ and to each other.
The great and lasting legacy
to all who knew Marie was that of a peacemaker. A lady, in
the true sense of the word, filled with compassion,
consistently considering others ahead of her self. She
passed from this earth in the same way she lived her life;
peacefully, with great dignity and enormous grace.
